Q: Where can we get a marriage license in order to be married in
the State of Florida?
A: The marriage license can be obtained in any county of the state of Florida.
It does not have to be the county you are getting married in-
it can be any county in Florida.

Q: Who has to be present when applying for a marriage license?
A: Both the bride & groom to be married.

Q: What do we have to present/have with us when applying for a marriage license?
A: One form of valid ID/drivers license for both persons to be married &
social security card number for both persons.

Q: From the time we are issued the marriage license- How long do
we have to get married?
A: The marriage license must be used with in 60 days in order to be married.

Q: What if we are Florida residents to be married in the State of Florida?
A: The fee in $93.50 Plus a 3 day waiting period before you can get married.
*If you take a pre-marital course you can receive a discount and there is no
waiting period.

Q: What if we are NON-Florida residents to be married in
the State of Florida?
A: The fee in $93.50 and NO waiting period before you can get married.

Q: Does the marriage license have to be present for us to be married in
the State of Florida?
A: Yes, the only way for the ceremony to go forward is for the marriage license
to be in front of the the person conducting the ceremony. We have to have the marriage license present on the day of the ceremony.
